"Wonderful visit to Three Springs Campground. Beautiful setting, friendly, helpful hosts, serenity tucked in between the Kentucky hills. Highly recommend 👌"

"Excellent. The campground was convenient from the highway, but we didn’t hear much noise from it. All the staff were helpful and friendly. The grounds were lovely, with some pleasant streams running through, great for the kids to play in, and a couple of nice trails. Also, there is a pileated woodpecker nesting right in the middle of the campground. "

"Chris and Rachel were great! Make sure to arrive before 7. The drive up to the campground is tight, but doable. The campground was clean and well cared for. Extraordinary relaxing camp ground. Bath houses very clean. We enjoyed the walking trails (bring boots). The kids loved the streams (bring water shoes). If we are in the area again we will do it again. "

"My wife booked a 5th-wheel rental for Easter 2020 but had to reschedule due to COVID. She and I decided to go later, but I wasn't sure what to expect. I was pleasantly surprised at the beauty of the campground. It's convenient to get to off of I-75, but it's far enough off and in a little valley so you don't have the noise from the highway. The 5th-wheel we rented there had some minor issues caused by previous renters, but it was mostly cosmetic and not an issue for us. The staff was super nice, and we really enjoyed our stay. I hope to be back sometime!"

"From the time I made reservations to the time we left our stay was pleasant. We were able to visit so many surrounding areas within a 15 to 55 minute drive. We went to the Ark Encounter, visited Cincinnati, OH and Lexington, KY. When we just wanted to relax there were pleasant walks in the campgrounds, bluegrass music in the event hall and one camper even gave a concert of his original songs (great musician).
We will visit again and hopefully will be bringing family members in the spring."

"Very tranquil spot in a beautiful setting.. the owners/hosts were kind and helpful even though we arrived very late. We used this as a base to see sights in the area and we were very happy with it. We knew it did not have septic hookups so we were prepared for that. I would like to have stayed one more day to enjoy the surroundings but had reservations elsewhere.. if you are looking for a restful stop in the area, this is it."

"Felt like going home! Great people!!! Hint for shower #1, faucet is backwards. Hot is cold. They have the hottest water I've ever felt short of steam! On a 30° morning, that was great!!!! Cleanest bathrooms I've seen in a while, I'd probably eat spaghetti right off the floor clean--- mild exaggeration, but not by much. Great little campground tucked away in the middle of nowhere just off 75. I shall return!"

"Rachel was honestly one of the kindest and most helpful people I have met in a while. So friendly, but also called me personally on my way to mention a weather pattern approaching that may add some time and gave us the best route. From start to finish this is a great place. Thanks Rachel!!"

"Want a true camp site?? This one’s for you! I read the reviews but none captured the essence of this wonderful site! Quaint, excellent service, and perfect distance between the ark and the Creation Museum. We are senior adults, had a blow out on I75, they waited late, helped us park and gave 1st class respectful service and help for 5 days. Try it- you will come again."

Three Springs Campground
Celebrating over 53 years being family owned and operated
Owned & operated by Chris, Rachael & Christopher Poole, "We took over the campground in March 2015 and started with extensive clean-up and updating of the park. With help from our family & friends, we rejuvenated the picturesque campground and started adding our own special touches to the existing cabins, Archey Hall, bathhouses, and main office, all of which underwent full renovations in 2000, when the Sparrow Family purchased the campground."
"We built and now offer two large two-story Rustic Cabins. Pop's Lodge, which is dedicated to the man who inspired it, Terry "Pops" Hamm, sleeps up to 20 guests. Mac's Place, named after my father, Wayne "Mac" McManama, who worked tirelessly in 2019 to help us build and finish this two-story, lofted cabin that sleeps up to 14 and features city water! We also added camper rentals to the park: The Montana, The Hitchhiker, and The Heritage Glen, all large 5th wheels, for those guests who want more adventure than a typical hotel room can afford."
"We pride ourselves on being a safe and quiet park, with on-site owner's quarters 24/7, two after-hours security officers on duty (one of which is a County Constable), and security cameras throughout the park. Guests enjoy peaceful, quiet nights, with little to no late-night check-ins, as our latest check-in time is 7 pm EST (6 pm EDT in winter months) unless prior permission is granted from management. Come spend a night under the stars with us, listening to the frogs and crickets sing! Check out our recent reviews and hear what others think of our peaceful nights in the "Valley Where Time Stands Still"."
"If you want a park like setting this is the place! Owners and staff were so helpful and nice! I would give it six stars if I could!"

"This campground and the owners are awesome. They accommodated us even though we just drove in with no reservation. Sites were clean and level. They helped us back in and the bathrooms were clean. Showers had plenty of hot water. Would definitely 100% come here again."

"Great place for the family! We stayed in the small cabin and we're very comfortable with 4 of us."
-Michael 2022 via RoverPass
"nice level sites, clean campground and facilities. I particularly like the fact that this campground has lots of "green space". Some hiking trails and a nice little creek that runs through it. Staff was great, as well. Overall, my week-plus stay was very enjoyable"
-Brady 2022 via RoverPass
"Very peaceful place to camp. Clean sites and bathrooms. Showers were clean with hot water which is always a plus."
-Stephanie 2022 via RoverPass
"HIGHLY RECOMMEND! The drive in wasn't bad, as some mentioned. On arrival, the staff was very friendly. A gentleman had our spot graded with new stone after we checked in, but before we were ready to park. When I got to our spot, he was waiting to assist however he could, even offering to let me use their 30 amp extension cord. The spot was very clean. This is a very quiet campground, not a whole lot to do, other than enjoy the camping experience! Thank you for a WONDERFUL time!!"

"The hardworking couple made us feel welcomed. It is off the beaten path and that was a plus. Definitely a great place to visit. We will definitely stay again in our future travels."
- Robert Hornby 11/07/17 via RoverPass
"Very secluded campground, nice bathrooms with hot showers, nice clean grounds, firepit. Water and electrical hookups were easy to get to and plug in and staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a very good experience."

"Outstanding, quite, clean and friendly place. 1 exit from The Ark.... Beautiful historic grounds perfect place for RVs and tent camping. "
-Lisa 9/17/18 via RoverPass
"What a winner this was. We were going to stay at another RV park, but they were closed. Someone suggested this one. It was very close to the interstate and what a wonderful place this was. Rachel met us outside and we went in and paid. Rachel then went to the site and helped us back in. I noticed she did this on every RV that came in. The prices were great, we even got a 10% discount because we were going to see the Ark. Scenery was wonderful, it seemed we were in a secluded valley with walk way all around that were mowed and kept clean. Our dog had a wonderful time. The only disadvantage is no sewage hook up, BUT they do have an excellent place to dump, very convenient.
I will definitely go back and I highly recommend this.
Thank you Rachel for a very enjoyable time at an outstanding campground"
- Larry Herrington 10/2018 via Google+
"Rachel was very nice and friendly. It's a rustic campground and very peaceful. Surrounded by woods. An escape from the city. We had to change from a 50 amp to a 30 amp, due to camper change, and was refunded the difference. Rachel communicated with us via email and cell phone. This place was a wonderful campground with water and electric. Was not expecting sewer, because we were told , no sewer. This is not a high priced RV resort, it's a peaceful, wooded and cleared campground. The bathhouse was clean and the showers were private. We will definitely come here again. Close to the Ark Encounter."
